Giving Tuesday
December 3 All day
A Day of Global Giving
This year, we’re focused on keeping older adults in our community warm as winter approaches. Many in DeKalb County are living in homes needing urgent repairs. We’ve replaced roofs, fixed heating systems, installed water heaters, and addressed leaks to ensure they stay safely in their homes. By giving again—or for the first time—you’ll help us do even more to protect our older neighbors this winter.
Your generosity and involvement are key to our success.

What is Giving Tuesday?
Giving Tuesday is a global movement that takes place on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving in the United States. It was created in 2012 as a response to the consumerism of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, encouraging people to give back to their communities and support charitable causes. On Giving Tuesday, individuals, organizations, and businesses come together to donate money, time, and resources to various nonprofits and causes. The day is celebrated through various campaigns and events that highlight the importance of generosity and community support.
