"I've always dreamed of having a big beautiful house for me and my son. From the time that my son got diagnosed with autism, we were living in a apartment with our 4 small dogs. the rent increased and the place where we were living was not a safe place for a single mother raising her son. I wanted to give my son more and to have a space for my Dogs. moving into our home meant everything to us "

"Home to me should be a place of serenity. A place to come home to where the environment and energy is welcoming, relaxing , peaceful, safe, healthy , clean and orderly. Where my tangible purchases adorn my living spaces to my liking and comfort. Having accomplished my dream of home ownership! Where I can invite and accommodate love ones and friends. Where I can pray in my prayer closet and exercise my faith in God. Where the smell of good home cooking and baking is the aroma in the air. Where my outdoor space reflects the same order that’s inside. A well maintained and inviting atmosphere. Home is my SANCTUARY!!!!!"
-- Denise

"Home means to me is just what it says HOME.
H- my HAPPY place!
O- my place where I can OPEN up my whole heart in joy and thanskgiving to our Most High God even more! without the negative feel, that I have to feel when I walk out of my apartment.
M- MUCH more peace and love, and not having to worry and hoping that my car isn’t broken into, having to hurry home before dark so that I hope not to be attacked. You’ll think that these things shouldn’t happen at a senior citizen's development but it does unfortunately.
E- I can feel a little better at EASE about going to MY own HOME being at rest of sure that I’ll have my own parking spot, I don’t have to drive around trying to find a place to park my car because of the lack of parking at a place I live. The more I think about it the more frustrated I feel. That’s what home mean to me above all other possibilities."
-- Adelaide
"Home to me is a special place to make memories happen. A home is a safe place for my kids and I. Home is not going place to place every night just trying to find anywhere to lay your head. Home is stability. Home is hot chocolate on a cold winter night. Home is ice cold lemonade on hot summer day. Home is peace
-- Erica

"A home is some where I can make memories, build a foundation and provide a healthy lifestyle for my two sons. As a single mom I try very hard to expose my family to a positive living space, instill values and morals in them that will guide them in the future. This substance starts in the home. Hopefully, one day I will be able to purchase a home where I don’t have to worry about the increasing renting market and the inflation of rent from investors who does not care about the well being of families. You shouldn’t have to worry from month to month on whether or not you will have shelter for your family. "
