2015: Highest Volunteer Participation in Women Build

National Women Build Week by the numbers According to our recent affiliate survey, the 2015 National Women Build Week had the highest volunteer participation to date. More than 23,000 volunteers took part in our eighth annual event, compared to around 12,500 volunteers last year.

Here are a few other highlights from the survey:

  • 621 homes were built, repaired or renovated
  • 656 families served
  • 23,278 volunteers
  • 18,107 women volunteers
  • 1,690 Lowe’s Heroes
  • 253 million media hits from traditional media and Web-based articles and blogs
